Massimo Romano was born in 1965 in the province of Alessandria. His stylistic journey began with photography, then unfolded through the progressive subtraction of details, until arriving at the search for the essential sign. After experimenting with various techniques, he reached the creation of metal works within which, in a play of bas-reliefs in steel, copper and other materials, he generates chiaroscuro effects emerging from deep shadows and light, without unnecessary decorative details. Silhouettes between painting and sculpture.
