Autoscontro is part of the Watermark project, a long-term work realised in Venice since 2016.
An empty bumper-car structure, out of season, becomes a space of waiting and suspension.

The symmetry of the image, the restrained colour and the sea in the background transform a place of entertainment into a silent presence, where time seems to slow down.
