Accorsi Arte Turin is pleased to present "Beyond Sight, Inside the Colour", the solo exhibition by Pier Giorgio Mela, a blind digital artist. A show that invites the viewer to look at colour with the eyes of the mind, where sight stops and imagination begins.

The exhibition

The works on display are the fruit of a unique path: Pier Giorgio Mela translates song lyrics, poems and literary passages into colour, rendering them as pulsing, vibrant chromatic compositions. Each work is a synesthetic "translation", a bridge between word and vision, between the memory of colour and active imagination.

The artist's chromatic squares, luminous geometries and layered compositions arise from the collaboration between mind and technology: a tool that becomes an extension of creativity, allowing what lives within to be rendered visible. The result is a digital painting that does not merely represent, but evokes, suggests and accompanies the viewer into an ever-new universe of colour.

Pier Giorgio Mela

Pier Giorgio Mela is represented by Accorsi Arte and has exhibited in numerous galleries and fairs in Italy and abroad: Madrid, Berlin, Paris, Dubai, Milan, Genoa, Savona, Turin, Innsbruck, Amsterdam. Among his most recent participations: Italian Art Review 2025 in Berlin, Art Innsbruck 2025, Art Review Amsterdam 2025, the AccorsiArte Temporary Space in Milan (April 2026), the group show "Il Silenzio" at the Bortone Gallery in Paris, and the international group exhibition "Senses" at Accorsi Arte Venice on the occasion of the Venice Art Biennale 2026.
