Because being wild means being aware of our own worth, respecting nature and interacting with it, always knowing how to get by, forging one's character day after day by putting oneself to the test, falling and rising again each time stronger than before. In the girl's gaze there is a profound intensity, a magnetism that pins you to her pupils; Parrimuto wants us to reflect on how, in these modern times where the gaze is absent, empty, present only on the phone screen, heads bowed no longer meet other gazes, no longer notice details, missing out on smiles, expressions, movements….. faced with this absence, Parrimuto invites us to consider that perhaps we should go back to our origins, to true values, and all become a little wilder……
